Even though HULK #7’s cover implies an intense encounter between Hulk and Skaar in the Savage Land, I’d say the book’s best moment comes from the very first scene. Now, I won’t spoil who it involves, but it’s essentially Hulk lecturing someone on the dangers of gamma radiation. It’s pretty much a ridiculous twist on a drug PSA and it’s a surprisingly funny way to open the chapter and show us we’re dealing with a new take on the Green Goliath.

While I wasn’t the biggest fan around of the encounter with Skaar, I will say what follows does an adequate enough job teasing a new element while also building interest in who Hulk will go after next. Hopefully it’ll be a more engaging conflict and resolution, though. In all I would rate this issue a a 7/10 that’s all for this issue and as always keep on marveling.

Released: April 30, 2014

It’s very intresting what Waid is doing with this series and I’m liking it a lot. We now know that Bruce Banner isn’t who he was before. After he got shot he lost all his smartness but if he gets mad he still turns into the hulk. In this issue we got to see an awesome fight between Hulk and Obamination. I’m still wondering if Banner will ever be smart again or if he will stay like this for the rest of his life.

The artwork in this issue was really nice. Especially when Hulk and Obamintaion are fighting. Bright colors and fluent. In all I would rate this issue a 8/10 that’s all for this issue and as always keep on marveling.

Released: April 16, 2014

With just the first issue of the this series we can already tell how good the series is going to be. This first issue was astonishing. For me at least. I thought it was well put. There is just so much mystery going on in this issue like who shot the hulk? We know it was a girl or at least it looked like it was a girl but why would someone one to paralyze him and not kill him instead? And what will happen to the hulk and Bruce Banner after the shot that he took? Will he stay on the condition that he is right now or will he recover? We hope that in the following issues we find out the answers to all thies questions.

I really loved the first issue of this series it was like I said before well put. I’m really looking forward to reading this series. Not only the plot is good but also the artwork by Bagley. It is just so nice and fluent with every stroke. Will this being said I would rate this issue a 8.5/10 that’s all for this issue and as always keep on marveling.

Indestructible Hulk #1

indestructible Hulk #1

Written by: Mark Waid

Released: November 21, 2012

This first issue was a very promising issue! Waid more or less frames this issue from Maria Hill’s point-of-view, as she finds herself in an Alabama diner trying to track down Banner. The opening scene is a tense but delightful dialogue between the two characters that ultimately lays out the foundation of this series in front of you. Waid excels in making moments that are both funny and tense. For instance, a moment in which a patron bumps into Banner is followed by an extreme close up of a ticking clock, a device that Waid uses throughout this opening scene. However, the panel that follows is a punchline that will sell you on Banner’s newfound epiphany. Although there is a lot of talking betwen Maria Hill and Banner we do get to see the Hulk smash the crap out of things! And the art work is just phenomenal when you see the Hulk. There are scenes when it gets blured but we never loose the action. We also get introduced to just how Banner will be helping S.H.I.E.L.D. “I’ll be lucky if my tombstone doesn’t simply say ‘Hulk Smash'” best qoute in the book. With this being said I would rate this book a 9/10 I highly recommend this book to any Hulk fans and as always keep on marveling!!

Infinity #3

Infinity #3

Written by: Jonathen Hickman

Art by: Jerome Opena

Cover by: Adam Kubert

Released: September 18, 2013

Entire planets are surrendering to the builders but captain America won’t and he has a plan. That plan is successful and they have their victory. While all this is happening in space Thanos pays a vist to the the king of Inhumans (Black Bolt) but he isn’t happy and gives Thanos his Answer and it an’t very nice. This book was really good. It was a lot better than the previous infinity issues. The problem about the other issues was that there was just too many things happening at once at that can get annoying and very distracting at some points. On the other hand this issue only focuses on two things. Captain America fighting the builders and the fall of Attilan. The previous issues was a little confusing as well. This issue was not, it was very clear and easy to understand.  The art work as always was on point! In all I would rate this issue a 8.5/10 that’s all for this issue and as always keep on marveling!

Thanos vs Hulk #2

IMG_2896

This issue was a good read! As the mad Titan Thanos gets into Bruce/Hulk ‘s brain and tries to figure out why Annihilus wants him. sense he’s in banners brain he can kinda control the hulk for example when the hulk tries to smash him Thanos can make him slower, and weaker but banner finds a way to stop that. What he does so the the hulk is stronger and can defeat Thanos is simply grab on to the Hulk. At the same time Annihilus finds out that Thanos is in the Hulk’s brain so he also goes in and kicks him out. While all this is happening pip the troll is planning a way to make it seem like he never kidnapped Bruce. He is also trying to find out where they are keeping the Hulk. In all I would rate this book a 8/10 that’s all for today and as always keep on marveling.
