Before SECRET WARS puts most of the Marvel Universe on hold, the half-sister of Peter Quill, is on a quest to get the body of her father, J-Son, back from the collecting clutches of The Collector. What readers are left with is probably one of the most fun books of the week, which expands on some questions left unanswered in the aftermath of Black Vortex, while moving things forward, which readers probably won’t get to see until after SECRET WARS.

The Collector’s collection is the best and most hilarious thing in the Marvel universe. The character is obsessive and a bit silly, to the point where he collects his own tears. Yes, you read that correctly. The dude collects his own tears and stores them away. The majority of this issue is about the Collector and everything he chooses to collect. Writer Sam Humphries pretty much gives the user a Collector 101 with this issue. It’s a fun a delightful look into the mind of a super-weird, cosmic character.
This issue isn’t all about the Collector though. We get to see the early days of Victoria, Star-Lord’s half-sister and her early life on Spartax. She lived with J-Son who was a pretty awful father and leader, but Victoria needs her father’s body back in order to move forward with her super-secret plan, which actually isn’t that secret here. How she gets J-Son’s body back is actually what gets Collector to cry, and all of this leads to a pretty fantastic ending, which we won’t get to see more of for quite some time. In all I would rate this issue a 7/10 that’s all for this issue and as always keep on marveling.

Relationships are hard, right? Especially if your boyfriend is Peter Quill. That’s really all this issue is about. Not much is really happining in this issue. Peter and Kitty are fighting but by the end of the issue kitty promises that she will stay in space with Peter. Another thing that happens is that Thane is now working with Mr. Knife this issue was kinda boring so I would rate it a 6.5/10 that’s all for this issue and as always keep on marveling!

Kitty and Peter finaly get to have there moment they have been waiting for so long and Lydia doesn’t even interupt their moment! At the end of this issue we see the appearance of Thane. This book was pretty good. It was a little intense but not so much like when Peter faught Thanos. I would rate this issue a 7/10 that’s all for this issue and as always keep on marveling!

The battle that we have been waiting for so long! Peter vs. Thanos! But how will Peter face off the furious Thanos? Well of course only with the Mandalay Gem. Since Peter is close to earth he does something for Kitty but doesn’t actually meet her. At the end of this Mr. Knife states that he is going after the Black Vortex. Legendary Star-Lord will eventually tie in with the Black Vortex series. This issue was exciting and full of suspense. I would have to say that this issue is the best so far. Let’s not forget about the art work. So beautiful and creative! If you have read this issue what would you say about it? I would rate this book a 8.8/10 leave comments below! The Legendary Star-Lord gets captured once again and gets put in jail once again but like always he manages to escape from the Badoon jail with the help of Kitty. He escapes with a spy and a little Badoon kid. The spy ditches him so the Badoon kid saves him. They find a space ship and fly away. Peter takes him back to the orphanage. He also tells kitty he is going to visit earth. This issue was not as exciting at the previous one which is kinda a bummer but in all it was pretty solid issue. This issue is filled with humor as always and the art is amazing! By the way guys we have reached a 100 posts on this blog! I appreciate all of my followers and anyone who takes a look at my blog. Each book in this series is just full of plot twist and very good ones. Star-Lord gets Captured by his sister only to be turned in for money. Star-Lord tries to change her mind but she is very conservative. Right when he’s about to be turned into Mr. Knife Captain Vicotria Beats up everyone and saves Peter. She’s not a traitor after all. More guards come and try to kill them both. Captain Victoria tells Peter to make a distraction but he accidentally wakes up the monster which is the moon. Peter is falling oof a cliff. Luckily Captain America’s ship is there to save them. Right when Peter falls Victoria saves him and they escape. They also manage to steal some money. Vicotria offers half and half but Peter refuses. My favriot part of this issue is when Victoria saves Peter

what was yours? I liked this issue because it gave more background on peters family and it was way better than the last issue! Will Peter be able to face of Thanos? How will he? Let’s not forget the art work done by Paco. It’s just phenomenal. I really liked this issue and I would give it an 8/10 that’s all for this issue and as always keep on marveling. Special thanks to Alfonso who has been helping me edit the post before its published. Thanks and your the best!

This issue was pretty good considering that it only has Star-Lord and none of his buddy’s. This issue starts off by some Badoons trying to take the Mandalay Gem that was hiden in an orphanage and capture Peter for a bounty set by Mr. Knife. Peter gets captured by the Badoons and gets put in jail. Even in jail Peter has a way with the ladies. He even has time to call his girlfriend Kitty. Peter manages to escape from jail with the Mandalay Gem and goes back to the orphanage and gives up all his saved up money to them. He gets into his spaceship and right when he’s about to leave Captain Victoria shows up telling Peter that she wants to take him into custody. She also states that she is the daughter of J-Son. It’s at this point that Peter realizes that he had a sister! Can we all just take a deep breath and just say that the artwork done by Paco is just amazing! The way he puts so much detail in each shot it just amazing. I thougt this was a very good start to this series so I would rate it a 7.8/10 what did you think about it? Do you like Star-Lord? That’s all for this issue and as always keep on marveling!

Legendary Star-Lord #5

first off if you want to read Black Vortex I recommend you read Legendary Star-Lord 1-8 first it will make a lot more since. So what do we have here? In this issue we see Peter trying to find out what Mr. Knifes next target is. Peter is talking to a Kymellian. The Kymellian is telling petter how the Sloughter Squad is working for Mr.Knife and how they stole the Black Vortex. While he is telling that to peter, peter finds out that the Kymellian is a shape shifter and is actually Raksor a member of the Sloughter Squad  but he doesn’t do anything. When hes done telling the story peter says that he is going to find out what Mr. Knifes next target is. At this point Raksor turns into his original form and tells peter that he is the next target but peter is not alone he has his buddy Drax to help him out. The artwork was good and the story was easy to understand I would rate this issue a 7.5/10 that’s all for today and as always keep on marveling.
