So this issue starts with Magneto discussing how humanity likes to lose themselves in the mundane aspects of life and how doing so provides a measure of security. Magneto knows though that there is a growing hunger inside of him to wreak havoc and that it is only a matter of time before it requires feeding. As he ponders this, he is on his way to meet a contact/informant in a book store to get a lead on his next target while a new ally/foe Briar Raleigh follows. She loses Magneto for a moment and runs outside the book store where Magneto flexes his muscle and grabs her one handed by the throat and asks why she is following him. She takes to long to answer and in typical Mageto fashion, he uses the metal brace in her leg to his advantage to make her to talk.
She reveals she has been following him since he visited his base and that she knows what he was doing there like keeping a list of mutants that have died and calls it the, “Scrapbook” while claiming to be able to provide him with juicier, meatier targets to feed that hunger for him. She also reveals that she knows his powers are weakened and that Magneto may be thinking he is a changed man because of it but she says she doesn’t think his power are what made him who he was but rather all those people he failed to help is what drives him to madness. This issue was a nice issue. Even though there was no action what so ever it was really intresting. I wonder if the girl is setting Magneto up so ten shield can take him down or is she actually trying to help Magneto. The artwork in this issue is magnificent and on point. In all I would rate this issue a 7.5/10 that’s all for this issue and as always keep on marveling!
